Recently Black Press’ annual Best of the City awarded The Fairmont Empress three first place awards for Best Hotel, Best Spa and Best Place for Afternoon Tea. These are very prestigious accolades for the hotel and spa as the nominations are made by the residents of Victoria and Vancouver Island. In addition, The Bengal Lounge was recognized in third place as Best for Scotch, and The Willow Stream Spa was recognized in second place collectively for Best Pedicure and Best Manicure.
